If you want to be a tutor, please note these upcoming Tutor Training Workshop dates, which will be conducted on Zoom. You will receive registration instructions after attending a Volunteer Information Session.
Volunteers interested in becoming tutors must have basic digital literacy skills (familiarization with using a smart phone, computer, online platforms [such as Zoom, Skype, Facetime, Google Hangout] and accessing information online or completing online applications). All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and live or work in Frederick County, Maryland.
Tutor Training Workshops:
Tuesday and Thursday, December 3 and 5, 2024, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. AND Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (Must attend all three sessions) Virtual
Tuesday and Thursday, January 7 and 9, 2024, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. AND Tuesday, January 14, 2024, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. (Must attend all three sessions) Virtual
