Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner proclaimed June 11, 2018 “Literacy Council of Frederick County Day,” to thank the Literacy Council for 55 years of service to the community. Ms.Gardner stated, “On behalf of the citizens of Frederick County, I join the Literacy Council in celebrating 55 years of providing educational services to adult learners and ensuring a bright future for our county.”
