Create a Lasting Impact

While the Literacy Council relies on annual support, a planned gift helps ensure our work continues for generations to come.

Planned giving allows you to make a meaningful contribution, now or in the future, while also offering potential financial and tax benefits.

Ways to Give

You can support the Literacy Council through:

  • Bequests (including us in your will or estate plan)
  • Beneficiary designations (retirement accounts or life insurance)
  • Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
  • Charitable funds through the Community Foundation of Frederick County

Many donors choose to direct their gift to a specific program or fund that reflects their interests, or to support our greatest needs.

We’re Here to Help

We encourage you to consult with your financial advisor to determine the best option for you. We are also happy to work with you or your advisor to ensure your gift is structured and designated as you intend.

The Literacy Council welcomes confidential conversations about your giving goals.
